Colleen Mattrey joins Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman

BUFFALO, NY- The Buffalo-based law firm of Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP is pleased to announce that attorney Colleen Mattrey joined the firm as a partner in the Healthcare Practice Group.

Ms. Mattrey concentrates her practice in the area of litigation, focusing on medical malpractice defense. She comes to LMWF from Damon Morey, where she was a partner.  

“As we continue to grow to meet the needs of our clients, Colleen is an excellent fit for our firm,” said Managing Partner Scott E. Ms. Mattrey is a 1998 graduate of SUNY Buffalo where she graduated magna cum laude. She earned her Juris Doctor from SUNY Buffalo Law School, graduating in 2004.

Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Mattrey serves as an adjunct professor at the SUNY Buffalo Law School, teaching trial techniques. For the past decade, she has also served as the coach and attorney advisor for the Clarence High School Mock Trial team.

She was also named a 2013 Super Lawyer in Upstate New York in the category of Personal Injury Defense: Medical Malpractice by Super Lawyers magazine.
