Andrea H. Vossler, a partner at Lippes Mathias LLP and member of the firm’s corporate practice team, participated as a panelist at a Good Investor Club event in New York on Sept. 14, 2026. The panel, titled "Investing in VC in 2027," was part of New York Venture Week 2026 and brought together private investors, angels, and family offices active in venture capital. 

The panel addressed topics including LP investment structures and terms, due diligence frameworks for early-stage companies, and the evaluation of funds, special purpose vehicles, and secondary transactions. Vossler fielded questions on LP commitments and negotiation strategies, technical and legal due diligence on fund investments, and sector and theme considerations for limited partners. 

The event was designed for emerging and independent venture capital managers, family offices, and next-generation investors entering early-stage investing. 

About Andrea H. Vossler 

Andrea H. Vossler is a partner with the corporate and securities practice team at Lippes Mathias LLP, where she co-leads the firm's startup and venture capital and family business practice teams. 

Vossler has extensive transactional experience working with founders, startups, companies, and investors across a variety of stages, sectors, and geographies. Her practice experience includes advising companies in general corporate matters, debt and equity financings, and M&A. Her work with later-stage and family-owned businesses focuses on helping them develop and implement succession plans by applying strategies informed by positive psychology. She began her career in New York City at Mayer Brown LLP, where she worked on large-scale M&A transactions, private-equity financings, and IPOs. 

In addition to her legal work, Vossler is a managing director and co-founder of Varia Ventures (www.varia.com), a platform for professionals and their organizations interested in venture investing. She has served in a variety of roles with organizations focused on entrepreneurship, democratizing access to capital, and women's leadership. She is an entrepreneur in residence at Columbia Technology Ventures, as well as a current or past mentor for Founders' Institute, Endeavor, and the University at Buffalo School of Management. Vossler is past chair of the WNY Women's Foundation and a past board member of Upstate Capital. 

Vossler received her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. from the University at Buffalo. A Fulbright Scholar (France), she also trained at Harvard Law School's Negotiation Program.
