BUFFALO, NY- Amy Habib Rittling, a partner with Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman, has earned the 2012 Women of Influence award bestowed by Buffalo’s Business First print publication.
Habib Rittling has been recognized for her unparalleled commitment to the Western New York community. Aside from her thriving law practice, and her family consisting of a husband and four young children, she finds time to volunteer with many organizations and activities.
“I was raised in a household where my parents instilled in us that giving back to your community is just something you do. Today, I am teaching my children that very concept by showing and doing it myself,” says Habib Rittling.
The Buffalo Zoo, the National Federation of Just Communities, the Foundation of Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo, the University at Buffalo Law School Alumni Association, the Westminster Early Childhood Program and Buffalo Seminary are boards of which Ms. Habib Rittling has donated her time.
Scott Friedman, Managing Partner of the firm, is proud to call Amy part of his team. “Having previously told Amy that I consider her to be one of the most influential members of our community, I wasn’t surprised to hear the news of the award. I am, of course, delighted.”
Habib Rittling is an alumnus of Buffalo Seminary, Boston College, and University at Buffalo Law School. She and her husband reside with their four children in Amherst.
LMWF law firm was founded in 1965 and is a broadly-based practice with emphasis in the areas of business and financial transactions, litigation, commercial real estate and development, immigration, employee benefits and employment practices, estate planning, and intellectual property.
