BUFFALO, N.Y. – April 15, 2021 – Lippes Mathis Wexler Friedman LLP today announced that six of its Law Clerks – Mark D. Canfield, Caroline R. Vilardo, Emma B. McEvoy, Matthew Withiam-Leitch, Hayden J. Fahrenkopf, and Alexander H. Wynkoop – were admitted to practice law by their respective State Bars.

Mark D. Canfield 

Mark is an associate in Lippes Mathias' Real Estate and Trusts & Estates Practice Teams and is based in Jacksonville, Fla. Mark assists firm clients across a broad spectrum of commercial real estate transactions, including the sale, acquisition, merger, and development of various types of properties. He also assists clients with wills, trusts, probate, incapacity planning, guardianships, and powers of attorney matters as a member of the Trusts & Estates Practice Team. Mark is a former Lippes Mathias summer associate and is a 2020 graduate of the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law. Mark is based in Lippes Mathias’ Jacksonville office and is admitted to practice in the state of Florida. 

Hayden J. Fahrenkopf 

Hayden will focus his practice on representing public sector labor unions on contract matters, disciplinary charges, and improper employer practices.  He was previously a member of the firm’s summer associate program and is a 2020 graduate of Albany Law School. Hayden is admitted to practice in the state of New York and will work out of Lippes Mathias’ Albany office. 

Emma B. McEvoy 

Emma will focus her practice on counseling and litigation matters for the employment and insurance recovery teams, as well as on general litigation matters. While in law school, she interned at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York and was a member of Lippes Mathias’ summer associate program. Emma is a 2020 graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Law. Emma will be based in Lippes Mathias’ Buffalo office and is admitted to practice in the state of New York. 

 

Caroline R. Vilardo 

Caroline will focus her practice on general corporate matters as well as mergers and acquisitions. She was a member of the Lippes Mathias’ summer associate program in 2019. Caroline received her J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2020. Caroline is admitted to practice in the state of New York and will work out of Lippes Mathias’ Buffalo office. 

 

Matthew Withiam-Leitch 

Matthew focuses his practice on assisting businesses with all aspects of financial reorganization, restructuring and insolvency Matthew is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis School of Law’s class of 2020. Matthew participated in Lippes Mathias’ summer associate program and is admitted to practice in the states of New York and Missouri. 

Alexander H. Wynkoop 

Alexander will focus his practice on representing public sector labor unions on contract matters, disciplinary charges, and improper employer practices. A former participant in Lippes Mathias’ summer associate program, Alexander received his J.D. from Albany Law School in 2020. Alexander is based in Lippes Mathias’ Albany office and is admitted to practice in the state of New York.
