Ryan V. Stearns, Lippes Mathias partner and co-leader of the firm’s cannabis practice team, is set to present at an upcoming New York State Commercial Association of Realtors Western New York chapter meeting to be held on Thursday, November 16 from 8:30-10:00 a.m. at the Hyatt Amherst. Alongside co-panelists Benjamin M. Siegel (Wendel) and Steven McMorrow (Thrive Agritech), Stearns will provide an update on the current state of adult-use cannabis in New York State at the meeting.

Ryan V. Stearns serves as the co-leader for the Lippes Mathias cannabis practice team where he advises cannabis companies (cultivators, dispensaries, manufacturers, etc.) on issues related to legal cannabis business activities, licensing matters (including drafting State license applications), regulatory matters, corporate structuring and real estate transactions. He was named to the National Law Journal's 2022 Cannabis Law Trailblazers List and frequently speaks at cannabis conferences. Stearn's practice also focuses on commercial real estate, including the representation of public REITs, private equity groups, and investors in connection with the acquisition, sale, development, leasing, ground leasing, and financing of a variety of asset classes.
