New Lippes Mathias LLP Attorneys and Practices Recognized, Others Continue to Climb Regional & National Rankings in Chambers USA 2023

Lippes Mathias is pleased to announce that six of its practice areas and 16 of its attorneys have been ranked by Chambers USA 2023.

For practice areas, Lippes Mathias ranked in Band 3 for Intellectual Property – Ohio, Band 3 for Corporate/M&A – Upstate New York, Band 4 for Labor & Employment – Upstate New York, Band 3 for Litigation: General Commercial – Upstate New York, and Band 2 for Real Estate – Upstate New York. Lippes Mathias also received a Band 3 ranking for Native American Law – USA – Nationwide.

Chambers USA 2023 ranked John J. Koeppel in Band 2, Brian J. Bocketti in Band 3, and Thomas B. Hughes and Sean P. Balkin as Associates to Watch in the practice area of Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions – Upstate New York. Additionally, Amy Habib Rittling ranked in Band 3 for Labor & Employment – Upstate New York, Jennifer C. Persico ranked in Band 4 for Litigation: General Commercial – Upstate New York, and Blaine S. Schwartz and Thomas J. Fennell ranked as Band 1 and Up and Coming, respectively in Real Estate – Upstate New York. 

Two Lippes Mathias attorneys also ranked higher this year than before, with Brendan J. Rich moving to Band 4 for Corporate/M&A – New York: Upstate and Paul F. Wells ranking in Band 2 for Real Estate – New York: Upstate.

Newcomers to Lippes Mathias’ list of Chambers USA-ranked attorneys in 2023 include Amy L. Reichhart and Ian A. Shavitz, who both ranked in Band 3 for Environment – Upstate New York, Hon. Carol E. Heckman (Ret.), who was ranked in Band 3 for Native American Law – USA – Nationwide, Richard M. Scherer, Jr., who ranked in Band 4 for Litigation: General Commercial – New York: Upstate and Robert G. Riegel, who received a Band 3 ranking for Labor & Employment in Florida.

Michael G. Rossetti, partner-in-charge of the firm’s Washington, D.C., office and co-leader of the firm’s Indian law practice team, was once again ranked in Band 2 for Native American Law – USA - Nationwide.

In reference to Lippes Mathias Corporate/M&A practice area, clients of the firm mentioned that John J. Koeppel is “very creative,” that Brian J.
