Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP Supports 43North and Buffalo Startup Events

BUFFALO, NY - Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP announced it is a Contributing Sponsor of this year’s 43North competition October 29, 2015, at Shea’s Performing Arts Center in Buffalo. 43North, the world’s largest business idea competition supported by the “Buffalo Billion” initiative, will provide $5 million in cash prizes in addition to mentorship, marketing exposure, incubator space and access to START-UP NY.

An advocate for entrepreneurship in the region, Lippes Mathias was also a sponsor of Buffalo Startup Weekend and the University at Buffalo’s Bright Buffalo Niagara Entrepreneur Expo 2015. Buffalo Startup Weekend, held October 23-25, 2015, at dig Buffalo at the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus Inc., is part of a global grassroots movement, giving aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their business ideas in a collaborative setting and learn the basics of founding startups and launching successful ventures. University at Buffalo’s Bright Buffalo Niagara Entrepreneur Expo 2015, held October 28, 2015, at Statler City, will feature regional entrepreneurs, including many 43North semifinalists, who will have the opportunity to pitch venture capitalists and angel investors and learn more about local resources that promote investment, business partnering and other startup services.
