Lippes Mathias is pleased to announce that Eric G. Sullivan, a former law clerk in the firm’s Cleveland office has passed the Ohio Bar Examination and has subsequently been admitted to practice law in Ohio. Sullivan will assume the role of an associate on the firm’s intellectual property practice team, assisting clients with securing patent and trademark rights by facilitating the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the mechanical arts. He has experience assisting in the litigation of copyright, patent, trademark, and trade dress matters and regularly conducts legal research, engages in prior art searching, and provides opinions concerning patentability.

Sullivan is a 2020 graduate of Youngstown State University, where he received his B.E. in mechanical engineering. He earned his J.D. in 2023 from the University of Akron School of Law.
