JACKSONVILLE, FL – On June 11, 2020, Alessandro A. Apolito, a partner in the Jacksonville office of Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, served on a panel discussion hosted by the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association. The panel, titled "The Past, Present & Future of Parental Leave in the Legal Profession," examined the history of parental leave in the legal profession. Panelists discussed the arguments made before the Florida Supreme Court, the effects of the Court's recent ruling, and shared different strategies and practical advice for parental advice caregiver leave in the private and public sectors.
 
Mr. Apolito, a member of the firm's Trusts & Estates Practice Team, focuses his practice on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and probate, trust, and guardianship litigation. He also serves as the President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Jacksonville Bar Association.
