BUFFALO, NY – Eileen M. Martin and Charles E. Telford III, partners at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, are participating in Neurose Cross Border’s Canada – U.S. Breakfast Seminar, “Expanding Your Business into the United States, Cross-Border Strategies One Year in the New Administration” on February 28. The firm is also a sponsor of the event which begins at 7:30 a.m. at Haltech at Techplace, 5500 North Service Road, Burlington, Ontario.

Topics of discussion include the effect of changes to U.S. tax law on Canadian businesses, the top executive orders and proposals affecting U.S. immigration law, update on NAFTA, regional financial incentives in the U.S. and how Export Development Canada supports Canadian exporters to the U.S. through knowledge, connections and financial services.

At Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman, Ms. Martin is the firm’s Immigration Practice Team leader. She has more than 20 years of experience in immigration law assisting clients from around the world with various matters including work permits, employment-based immigration, port-of-entry issues, visa issuance, family-based immigration, immigrant and nonimmigrant waivers, and assessment of U.S. citizenship.
