Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP's Carson R. Cooper Appointed to Native American Community Services Board

BUFFALO, NY – Carson R. Cooper, a senior associate at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, was appointed to the board of directors for Native American Community Services (NACS).

NACS is a non-profit organization founded in 1975 to provide quality health and social services to the off-reservation Native American population in Erie and Niagara counties. The organization has since grown into a full-scale human services agency committed to helping the entire community, regardless of race or background.

At Lippes Mathias, Mr. Cooper focuses his practice primarily on Indian law and commercial litigation. He represents Indian tribes and tribally-related businesses looking to do business in Indian Country. Mr. Cooper has a broad range of experience representing tribes on matters involving Indian gaming regulatory work, tribal financing, and economic development on tribal land, and has experience litigating disputes in federal, state and tribal court.
