Paralegal, Insurance, Buffalo, Rochester, or Albany
Lippes Mathias LLP is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join the Firm’s Insurance Recovery, Counseling & Litigation team. The ideal candidate would have general insurance knowledge as well as experience in a corporate law firm setting. The right candidate is eager and quick to learn, has high energy, and especially enjoys providing high-quality and personalized service to clients with whom you will have direct contact.

- Assist in reviewing/editing contracts
- Prepare and send out transmittal letters
- Save, print, scan, and file all transmittal documents on each file
Our ideal Paralegal will have:
- A minimum 3 years' Paralegal OR insurance experience
- General office and computer experience
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Reliable attendance
- Experience with editing, revising and drafting of legal documents
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to complete projects with little direction
- Ability to use discretion and handle confidential information
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality work products
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Experience with document management systems such as ProLaw
