Associate, Commercial and Civil Litigation, Albany, NY

The Albany office of Lippes Mathias LLP seeks an ambitious attorney with zero to five years of experience for an Associate position with our Litigation Practice Team. Our team regularly serves clients across the country. From individuals and closely held companies to large multi-national corporations, our litigators represent clients in many state, federal and appellate courts throughout the United States. We also regularly appear before governmental/administrative boards, agencies and commissions as well as arbitration and mediation panels. A few of our focus areas include: complex business litigation, corporate dissolutions, environmental, labor and employment, consumer finance, appellate practice, government affairs and white collar, real estate, family law, and construction disputes.

Strong communication skills, legal advocacy skills, and writing skills are required. Federal Court experience is preferred. Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills are required. The attorney selected for this position must be a self-starter and will have the opportunity for immediate, direct, client contact.

A new Associate should anticipate hard work in an environment that provides the necessary training and guidance in the specific areas of practice. Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.

A New York bar license is required.
