Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP seeks an ambitious attorney with zero to three years of experience for an Associate position with our Litigation / Asset Receivable Management & Consumer Financial Services Practice Team. This Team approaches this fast-moving and constantly evolving area of the law in a strategic and unique way that is driven by its lawyers' extensive knowledge of the consumer financial services industry. 

A few of the Team’s focus areas include: Commercial Litigation, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Electronic Fund Transfer Act, Truth in Lending Act, Government Investigations, and Internal Compliance. 

Strong communication skills, legal advocacy skills, and writing skills are required. Federal Court experience is preferred. Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills are required. The attorney selected for this position must be a self-starter and will have the opportunity for immediate, direct, client contact. 

A new Associate should anticipate hard work in an environment that provides the necessary training and guidance in the specific areas of practice. Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience. 

Must be admitted to practice in New York, Florida, or Washington, D.C.
