Dariush Keyhani, published "Bulova Wrongly Decided: A Case Against Extraterritoriality of Trademark Law" in the Chicago-Kent Journal of Intellectual Property. This article looks at how U.S. trademark law has been interpreted by the U.S. Supreme Court to have extraterritorial effects and argues how this interpretation is in tension with existing international intellectual property law frameworks that provide appropriate protections for the legitimate interests of U.S. trademark holders. William E. Mathias received the Distinguished Alumni Award for Business during the Annual Dinner of the University at Buffalo Law Alumni Association on May 3, 2007. In addition to his wide ranging corporate practice, Mr. Mathias was also recognized for his many community activities and continuing service as a member of the Dean's Advisory Council at the Law School.

Storck presented information on Minority Rights Fiduciary Obligations and Professional Ethics in the context of LLC's at the Advanced LLC Issues Seminar held at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo. Other topics that were discussed at the seminar covered Current Updates, Emerging Trends, and Advanced Tax Issues for LLC's. In addition to general matters such as business organization, ownership and control, Mr. Storck's practice focuses on securities offerings, registrations, continuous disclosure and Sarbanes Oxley compliance, and intellectual property protection, enforcement and related issues.
