Our attorneys have assisted clients in the establishment, implementation and termination of employment relationships, as well as employee benefit practices, policies and programs. LMWF provides guidance and advice with respect to the requirements and impact of the federal and state regulatory landscape applicable to the structure and design of these arrangements.

We have also represented clients in defining lines of responsibility in transactional settings relating to employment, termination of employees and costs and liabilities of employee benefits. Included in the range of employment benefit matters on which the firm has advised and consulted are executive employment agreements, severance agreements, bonus to stay agreements, change in control agreements, deferred compensation agreements, personnel policies, employee handbooks, equitybased incentive compensation arrangements, non-compete agreements, and pension and profit-sharing plans.

Our attorneys also represent businesses in federal and state court actions, as well as in mediation and arbitration involving employment issues. The firm counsels employers on management and labor issues and defends employers in labor matters brought before the EEOC, the New York State Division of Human Rights, the Department of Labor, OSHA and federal and state courts.
