Ms. Habib Rittling concentrates her practice in employment and general business counseling and litigation. Ms. Habib Rittling’s employment law experience includes counseling and advising employers on all aspects of employment relationships, practices and policies, representing employers before administrative agencies including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, and the Department of Labor, and litigating claims pertaining to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour, temporary worker visa programs, and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
Ms. Habib Rittling’s business law practice involves counseling and litigation in a wide range of matters including contract disputes, misappropriation of trade secrets, restrictive covenants, risk management, civil rights, and other general civil and business litigation. Ms. Habib Rittling’s experiences include arbitrations, mediations and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Ms. Habib Rittling also represents and works with several family-owned businesses.
Prior to returning to Western New York, Ms. Habib Rittling served as Special Assistant to Commissioner Leslie E. Silverman of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Ms. Habib Rittling is active in many community organizations.
